Two good helpdesks. One AI that is actually included.
Gorgias and Commslayer are capable products. Here is where Solvias makes a different call, side by side, from their public pricing and product pages, September 2026.
Side by side.
Three things to read for: what you pay for, what the AI is allowed to do on its own, and which channels you need. Where a competitor is stronger, the cell says so.

“Not listed” means their public pages do not state it. Gorgias: “Each automated interaction also counts as one helpdesk ticket. Overage above the plan's included allowance is billed at $1.50 per interaction.” Commslayer: “Above your plan: $0.15 per extra conversation, $0.075 per extra AI agent message.” You can set a monthly spending cap, including $0, for a hard ceiling at the plan price.
The same tickets on Gorgias, itemized.
Gorgias charges for the ticket, then again for every ticket its AI resolves. Set your volume and compare the two bills.
less a year with Solvias at 800 tickets a month. That is the Gorgias bill minus ours, times twelve.
Public list prices, September 2026, on the cheapest Gorgias plan for the volume, overage included. Gorgias lists in dollars, Solvias in euros, compared one to one.
Where they are stronger.
Every channel in one inbox: chat, SMS, WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook and a voice add-on. Over a hundred integrations, multiple store platforms, and enterprise controls such as SSO and audit logs. If your support runs on chat and social, Gorgias covers ground Solvias does not.
Chat, social DMs and comments, phone, a customer portal and comment moderation, at very low base prices with unlimited seats. If you want one cheap tool for every channel and you are happy to meter the AI, Commslayer is a serious option.
Email support for Shopify stores, nothing else. Solvias AI in every plan, follows the funnels you build, and every reply can wait for your approval. Built by store owners.
Before you switch.
The questions merchants ask us when they arrive from another helpdesk.
We tried. Every number comes from the competitor's public pricing or product page in September 2026. The bill below picks their cheapest plan at each volume, not their most expensive, and uses the 60% automation rate Gorgias advertises for itself. Where they are stronger, the page says so. If a number is wrong, tell us and we will fix it.
Yes. Connect the mailbox and Shopify, and Solvias drafts in review mode while the old helpdesk keeps running. Nothing is sent until you approve it, so hold the drafts against your own replies for as long as you like, and cancel the old tool only once you trust them. The first 50 tickets are free, with no card.
Solvias does not do chat, social DMs, SMS or phone. It handles email: Gmail, Outlook or any IMAP and SMTP mailbox, with every inbound email turned into a ticket. If chat matters to your store, keep a tool for it. Solvias takes the email.
Because on a Shopify store the AI is the product, not an add-on. A helpdesk that charges per resolution earns more the more its AI does, and you end up rationing your own automation. Solvias bills the ticket you reply to, on every plan including Free, whether a person or the AI wrote it.
Every comparison, one by one
